So it's been about a year since we first launched the project, building the infrastructure to get the Max Labs distributed to other schools & programs. A lot has happened since then:
In September, we placed 3rd in the Teaching Innovation Competition at the European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Jyväskylä, Finland!
In December, our AMCIS paper, "Innovating Business Systems Labs for Engaging iGeneration Students", was named the AIS Best Conference Paper in IS Education for 2016!
Also in December, The Max Labs Project officially joined the Salesforce Partner Community.
This Spring, the Max Labs were piloted at Temple University and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Instructors who used them there and here at SJSU will participate in a panel discussion at AMCIS 2017 this fall in Boston entitled "Inroads to Engaging iGeneration Students in Innovative IS Education: Lessons Learned in the Trenches".
We're super-excited to see the Max Labs being picked up at other schools and will be among the exhibitors at AMCIS 2017 in Boston, spreading the word. Stop by and see us if you're there!
