Max makes lots of friends at AMCIS

posted Sep 7, 2017, 9:22 PM by Tim Hill

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our exhibits table in Boston to learn about Max and sign up for access to review the labs–about 5% of all the AMCIS attendees! We were thrilled and grateful for the warm reception. And we're delighted to be following up with everyone now. If you didn't make it to our Boston table, don't wait until next year at New Orleans. Click "Try the Labs (Free)" tab above, fill out your info and we'll get you a promo code ASAP.

The Max Labs Debuts at AMCIS 2017

This is the big launch! It's kind of the "grand opening" for the Max Labs. We're debuting to the MIS academic community at AMCIS 2017 in Boston this year with an official exhibitor booth. If you're going to be attending, please stop by! One of our SJSU instructors with lots of experience using the labs will be there to chat, along with two of the student lab assistants, so you can get the real story on how they work from the guys in the trenches. Get there early to get the official Max M&M's before they run out!

The exhibits will be outside the Grand Ballroom all three days:

- Thursday 3-6:30pm
- Friday 8-6pm
- Saturday 8-4pm

Hope to see you there!

So it's been about a year since we first launched the project, building the infrastructure to get the Max Labs distributed to other schools & programs. A lot has happened since then:
We're super-excited to see the Max Labs being picked up at other schools and will be among the exhibitors at AMCIS 2017 in Boston, spreading the word. Stop by and see us if you're there!

Max Labs begin venture beyond SJSU

posted Jun 11, 2016, 9:45 AM by Tim Hill   [ updated Jun 8, 2017, 9:48 AM ]

This summer marks the first steps beyond SJSU for the Max Labs. Step #1 is this website, designed to introduce The Max Concept and show how & why they've become a game-changer for our College of Business at SJSU.

At the same time, The Max Labs Project is becoming a Salesforce Partner and starting to spread the word with our MIS colleagues through conferences this summer & fall. First, we're presenting a research paper about the labs at the 2016 AMCIS (Americas Conference on Information Systems) in San Diego in August. Then, we're competing in a Teaching Innovation Challenge at the 2016 European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Jyväskylä, Finland in September! Wish us luck!
